By adhering to the seemingly simple and straightforward medium most of us engage with every day I am able to push myself forward and engage with my environment. I rattle on, maneuvering through the obstacle course of my everyday life with my unconventional walking pattern - a clumsy flaneur.
I was 18 years old when I became disabled, through my relationship with my camera I have come to see that whether I am less able, more able or disabled, I am always, in some way, able.
I am a photographer born 1990 in Reykjavik where I live and work. In 2021 I graduated from the School of Photography Iceland and was nominated to Futures Photography by Copenhagen Photo Festival.
